What is Coaching?

And how is it different from therapy?

Therapists are degreed mental health professionals, with the goal of treating mental illness and anxiety disorders. There are many forms of therapy, many taking years and being very costly. Therapy helps to uncover/diagnose mental health issues and typically the therapist works to create a personalized mental health care plan for you. A therapist may recommend prescription medication if your mental state warrants. Coaching (while it may feel like a therapeutic relationship) is not a substitute for therapy. If you feel you have a mental health condition, you should first seek the support of a therapist. 

COACHES do not require licensing, however many professional coaches like myself are professionally trained, and have often BEEN WHERE YOU ARE! I hold the Certified Professional Coach credential (CPC), recognized by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). As a Coach, I help my clients get “unstuck”, heal past hurts and trauma🩹 , break free from “autopilot” to live INTENTIONALLY 💕, and build unshakable confidence ✨! I do this by helping you re-wire your mindset, and create long-lasting behavior change.
